Your data stays in Switzerland, and here is exactly what that means
"Hosted in Switzerland" is a claim every Swiss software vendor makes. This page says where the data actually is, who processes it, and the one case in which it leaves the country.
Stored in Switzerland, by a Swiss host
Your account, your receipts and every extracted field are stored in Switzerland, on infrastructure operated by the Swiss host Infomaniak. DemyTix is published by Appogée Sàrl, a Swiss company registered in Vaud under UID CHE-340.224.808, and Swiss law governs the service.
One exception, stated rather than hidden
To read a receipt, its image is sent to Claude, the AI model of Anthropic, in the United States. Under Anthropic's commercial terms the image is never used to train models, and Anthropic deletes it from its systems within 30 days; only a request its automated abuse detection flags is kept longer. The extracted result comes back and is stored in Switzerland. This is the only case in which your documents and account data leave Switzerland and the European Economic Area, and the transfer is governed by the safeguards described in the privacy policy.
Error diagnostics, in the EU
When something breaks we collect the error message, its technical trace, the page, the application version and the browser type. No screen recording, no session replay. These diagnostics are processed by Sentry in the European Union, which Switzerland recognises as providing adequate protection.
No trackers
The site and the app set one strictly necessary cookie, the one that keeps you signed in. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, no audience measurement.
Bexio receives only what you confirm
Nothing is posted to Bexio until you confirm it, and only into your own Bexio account. DemyTix never shares your data with any third party for commercial or advertising purposes.
